speaking of dry climate supposed to be going to vegas in november to sema, that will be a long deserved vacation. will be first time can't wait, heard is a huge show and will never see it all in 5 days.

got this in the mail yesterday looks real they can make any state any numbers letters etc. and plate is embossed raised letters out of florida ordered it 5 days ago got here quick. licenseplates.tv
put rt first because it matches the letter number format in 68

Sounds like the car is coming along nicely. Love that fitech 3x2. Sorry, not going to the Gilmore Mopar show this year, staying here in Lansing to see how the capital city car show is. Hopefully I can get my car ready by Saturday.
gilmore was a hell of a turn out, some very very cool cars. scored a rear bumper for my car for rechrome, very straight a few small dings. met justin (moparnation) his mom and wife were there also, very good people along with gary (plowman), he's a hell of nice guy too! been a busy several days ended up talking to norm, the hole in the center throttle body is supposed to be there it is connected to the idle air control (IAC) valve which opens when your not getting enough air. I synced my butterflies on the throttle body in the beginning as per instructions but turned the lide stop up a bit to bring my idle up and did not think about the other two throttle body stops, which caused the other two to run rich, my plugs told the story well center cylinders were beautiful burn front and rear were slightly rich, causing the rich exhaust smell. well sorry for assuming Fi-tech quality control was lacking and thanks to norm at affordable fuel injection. i tried ngk plugs, seemed to have a miss, switched back to champion rj12yc got a new set installed. removed oil pan and checked for any issues everything looked good no shavings, oil had good viscosity still, did a dry cold compression check, came up with a 145 reading on all cylinders, within a pound or two very consistant. resealed the oil pan and waiting for permatex to dry will retorque in the morning and fill it with oil. Hopefully this will put the fuel injection learning back on the right track. next the brakes with be thourghly gone over i know i have a small leak on my right rear caliper at the brake line and the emergency brake cable needs adjustment. i have insurance on it already just working on the plates, then actual road test yeeeehah!
You plan on using this as your real license plate or just for show? Just curious if they can make em and use em for registration. I know they (the state) probably frown on this, but quite frankly if its very close to a real plate, I could care less what they think in NYS haha.
i don't believe I can legally, michigan says authentic plate. was gonna play dumb, but then my son in law said just register an authentic one throw that one in the trunk and put the cool one on. I'm sure I might be able to talk myself out of that ticket, if i get pulled over. I don't know about committing fraud at the secretary of state. they might get pissy. It states on the web site that makes them that they are not to be used as an authentic plate, and has you click "accept" for there legal out.
Yea my state says plates cannot be restored or repainted either, but that happens daily so I don't think they really give a rats *** about the old stuff. They screw me enough in NYS, so my turn if I get a set of letters and numbers made that clears the DMV. Might just have a custom set made. What did they wack ya to have that plate made if you don't mind me asking?

Car is looking good out in the sun.
well garage gets moved next saturday oct 12th. waiting on the charger to get buttoned up at the painters, picking her up monday and headed down to the tim's and get the muffler tips installed along with shaving and studding the bumper cores then she will be back home to continue the remaining wiring for the headlights and a couple interior light. was sorting parts and ran across my wiper arms started cleaning and ended up polishing one arm gotta about an hour into it and realized they propbably had a coating on them, maybe for glare, but anyway there shinny as hell now, just like the rest of the stainless. gonna continue with the o

I have them polished on my yellow car and they don't bother me one bit. They are so low you don't even see them. My runner has them factory looking, but quite honestly I couldn't tell ya the difference between them when driving.
thats cool, i just finished the other one and put them on the shelf, wife is gone for the weekend was gonna clean and organize the rest of the barn while the charger is gone so it will be nearly dust free when it returns. but feeling like goofing off might take the challenger for cruise since those days are nearly gone for this year.
picked up my car from the body shop, looking good. started her up noticed an exhaust leak sound, slid under the car and my brand new borla muffler split at the seam. well called summit, after about 30 minutes on hold, talked to the service rep, he asked if i had a million miles on the yet, million mile warranty that i wasn't aware of. I told him about 10 miles. so they are sending me a new one with a return tag for the old one. ships out monday. actually good timing headed back to the welder muffler guy to shave my bumper so ill have him chop off the old one. so hats off to Summit R

thank you, cant wait to get the bumpers and exhaust done and get it home, still have quite a bit of work to do, wanna get this fuel injection tweaked, but running out of time for test drives with winter closing in.
