1965 Plymouth Belvedere rims and tires help

Hello
Looking to get a new set of rims and tires for my race car which I will soon drive on the street

Open to ideas and would like some advice on rim and tire size front and back.
Currently have 9.0/30/R15
 
15 inch steel wheels that can accept the original 10 inch dogdish hubcaps. Sizes depend upon the look you want and how much room you have , wheel tubs and such.

I converted my 65 back to the street. Right now running 275/60/15 Goodyear drag radials on rear with 7'' steeles. On the front is 215/75/15. As you know if the rear wheel wells are stock (mine is )you may be able to go a bit wider.I also have American torque thrusts with 255/70/15 rear and 225/70/15 front. Those are 7'' wheels also. My 2 cents.

@Darter6 nice looking car!
My wheel wells are stock with the Hoosier slick I’m running the drivers side is very tight not sure the width of my rim but slicks are 9.0/30/R15
I have long studs wondering if that will work / look okay with the torque thrust wheels
 
Take a closer look of the rear wheel photo. Yep, long studs.
 
Like you said about your car having a tight fit on the driver side, My 63 Belvedere was tight on the passenger side.The rear tires that are on the 65 are tires I bought for the 63.Plenty of room on my 65, too close to run on my 63.
Typical Mopar manufacturing tolerances.

Agree with vintage torque thrusts upfront! Best look for a 65!
 
15 x 4 torque thrusts up front 15 x 6 steelies (10" centers) on back!
