It happened much earlier in the day. I got here at 1pm and it was before that.

Problematic day yesterday for me.
We only got one time shot because of the accident and a couple of hood latches failed. I had spares with me and replaced them. Went up for round one and the hood started buckling again at 1000 ft. Had to get out of it.
Hopefully have it fixed temporarily now. If it happens again, I'll run with no hood the rest of the weekend.
Its ashame what happened with that accident. It was sad watching them pick up the car at the end of the track with a tractor.

Track announced possible broken nose and other minor injuries.
The car itself is pretty tweaked, but I'd give it a try. There are only so many left.
As far as Bobtile, he's a ghost.
He must be so far down in the pits he needs a carrier pigeon for track announcements.
The swap meet got a little bigger this year, but .........it's all about race cars here.
The 67 is Ross Hutchinson's car. From what I heard he broke his knee caps and his nose. Real nice guy we've been racing against each other for 20 years. It went 8.90 here. Apparantly blew out the left slick.We're waiting on rd 3 its 12:22 am

I haven't seen Doug yet. I've had a rough go of it the first 2 days.
I'm still here at 12:44 am.
My kid came out and decided to rent a Challenger.
He's onto rd.3.
Parking this year was insane. Too many cars!

Disappointing weekend would be a huge understatement for me .

Not a single round win!
It was great chatting with Doug for a while.
I have a lot of friends out there and seem to meet a few more every year. This race is #1 on my must do list every year.

sounds like it was a cool race overall
