I removed the quarter window from the driver's side, cleaned, replaced all rollers with a kit and re-installed. I removed all the old cat whiskers (belt line weatherstrip). I installed a new roof rail seal and adjusted the door and front window. I adjusted the quarter window. All was good until I put the new outer cat whiskers on the quarter window. Now the whiskers pushes the window in too far and I cannot get the top of the glass to line up with the roof rail seal. I have the bottom of the glass adjusted all the way in towards the interior and the top all the way out.

I may have some adjustment left to move the roof rail guide in a bit but the top of the glass needs to come out about 1/8".

Any ideas that would help?

I had to use that butyl pressure tape stuff you use to set glass to push it out a little bit at the bottom. Weird thing was after breaking in the car and putting some miles on her I had to readjust everything and the tape was not longer really needed. Darnest thing. I hate those windows.

I just read your thread about this from 2012. Would you look at my roof rail seal photos and tell me if they are on correctly? These are before the cat whiskers were installed outboard on the quarter window.

I have the very same problem on my passenger side.
Bottom all the way in and tightened down the nut. Top nuts all the way out pushing tight against the outer whisker. Quarter window still too much in and misses the roof rail channel.

I do not have an idea how to further adjust it without any modification to the mechanism.. Ideas?

I believe the FSM goes through the adjustment process...dont know if it addresses your problem specifically though.
I replaced my glass last weekend and was reading it all to get mine right, although I haven't installed any rubber yet so I'm not sure if it's right either! Lol!

Studied the FSM and did it step by step exactly as described..but no way

I just pushed in on the glass when I rolled the quarter window up on each side and left it up for a while. The rubber seems to conform to the window after a bit.
