In less than 1 year since I put my challenger on the road the brake proportion valve failed last night. less than 400 miles total. I filled the brakes and bleed them last summer and drove it for the first time last labor day 2018 and last night on the way home the brakes got soft/low. When I got home I checked it out and the master was low and the valve leaking fluid pretty good. that's some piss poor parts......

Not surprised, Quality of parts are very poor now-a-days.Failure is common on all types of parts.

Scary thing, major safety systems having failures. Bright side is there's always something out there to stop you

I had a similar problem with my Inline Tube proportioning valve, after maybe 200 miles. Mine "stuck" and I rear-ended a Lexus! Thank God nobody was hurt since I was only going maybe 5mph

The thing is it looks like everyone sells the same part weather it be mancini that says its inline tube part or dr diff or any other vender I looked at. I guess its going to come down to who will stand behind the new valve I buy, so when the next one shits the bed I might not have to pay again........we will see

Was it the proportioning valve or the front metering valve for disc brakes that is usually installed? A friends restored Roadrunner with Inline Tube parts started leaking.

I'd file a claim at NHTSA. The only way we are going to change the quality of chineseium safety parts is to start some paper trail with the government.

My inline tube valve was JUNK when I installed it.It would not allow me to bleed rear brakes.I bought another one from DR.Diff and it worked fine. Too bad it was the same exact valve from same manufacturer!!!!

front metering valve leaking a constant drip but the proportioning is also wet at the plug on the bottom

yes that's what im thinking everyone sells the same part, but im hopeing from his reputation dr diff will stand behind the part

The government is who drove good quality manufactureing OUT of this country

I played hell with a proportioning valve on a ot car a couple of years ago. Could not get the rear brakes to bleed at all, what i didn't know at the time if the valve slips off center and closes the front or rear flow you can't bleed the system. Also didn't know they sell a tool to recenter valve and hold in place .

I bought the tool to recenter the valve. The valve that Inline sells would not reset. The tool will work on OEM valves.

I have their disk brake kit, and I didn't even bother to use the valve they supplied because it looked pretty low quality out of the box.
Used a Wilwood valve, so I have a brand new never used InLine valve if you need a replacement (if I can find it, might be in the scrap pile)

Can someone post a pic of the bad valve? I'm wondering if it's the same valve I got from Summit when I installed my SSBC kit. I don't remember what brand the valve was. Thanks guys.

I can take a pic tonight after work.....tues evening that is

Up date...sorry never posted the pic of the bad valve ill see if I can some time. but I got a new set from Dr Diff it looks to be the same stuff but if it goes bad I,m guessing they will stand behind it at least for a year. We will see how that goes. I called inline tube they gave me an email address to use to ask about my issue but I did not bother because I already know their answer. What I think they should do is put a disclaimer out stating they do not manufacture the part they just sell it and It may be junk......just saying. so the new part is installed, it only took about an hour to in stall but it took at least an hour and a half to get it to seal all the conections. I still have to do a test drive then check for leaks. good luck to me.

This is the bad valve in the foreground. It leaked out the bottom of the poppet...

Had the same leak issues. I found rebuild kits at Muscle car research. So far no new leaks.
I still don't trust the repop part as it has a plastic disc in place of an original metal piece. If I had an original part I would have no problem rebuilding it using parts from Muscle car research.
