Best and worst car show accessory

I prefer to see and hear them running and driving around. Small shows and cruises. The big shows are nice because there are some rarer machines not usually seen at the small town gatherings.

I hate to say it buddy but I have drooled over your car three times now at shows here locally and I have never once taken the time to read your sunscreen.
So, you have been sneaking to see my car but don't say hi to me, whats up with that, that is worse than not reading my sign!!!

You were never around when I was there. I'll probably see you this year. My son wants to bring his Duster to the FC Dodge show this year.

That would be cool, when's that roadrunner going to be rolling out?

Kind of burnt out after the past year, I plan on taking the winter off and getting back to it in the spring. I may get it back together in less than a year, we'll see.

I have come to resent paying $20 *+ to enter a show to get judged. I like the people's choice award over the judges. My heap is street driven with a few battle scars and a primered spot that I never painted.I'm normally late and leave early.
It's funny when they stand there and look at the engine compartment and start shaking their heads:usflag:.Or when often I hear how their Dad,uncle, brother or friend had a 63 with a HEMI in it:rofl:

I saw one of those bio boards with all the stats on a beautiful 69 F6 Daytona Charger, get blown over by the wind,at a show. It put a large scrape in the nosecone, right down to the metal!

Now you know the real reason why I did the windshield info board!!!

When I get crazy with my display,,,I buckle the seat belt harness on BOTH sides and put the window net up..........:drinks:

Anyone make something like this for a 1970 RR? I've seen them for modern Mopar but not for the oldies. Im going to an indoor show so the car will be roped off. I'd usually just make it myself but I'm in somewhat of time crunch.

The "modern muscle" owners that feel the need to color key interior and under the hood components to match the body color, I guess I don't get it

How about the Corvette guys with the Corvette sunglasses, Corvette sun visor/ball cap, Corvette canopy, Corvette lawn chairs, Corvette coolers, Corvette wrist watch, Corvette jacket, etc.
sitting infront of his stock yellow late model corvette with a tweety bird plush behind the wheel.

not really just a car show thing, but curb feelers are about the ugliest car accessory,

I had a Knight Rider firebird clone roll up next to me and left the car with the red light in the hood going and a PA speaker with the voice of Kit talking to the driver squaking. I had to move my car.

That was the reason I built a stand to display my photo album & board back when I use to take car shows semi serious....

My accessories. My wife, youngest son and my ever faithful Border Collie Dixie.
Unfortunately this pic is about 10 years old and Dixie is no longer with us.
