Hallo to all ,
Im new to this forum and Im not native speaker so please be patient with me . Thank you...

I have number matching 69 Super bee for few months now, with original
engine, trans, all numbers on body and everything else. It is complete car with everything ( moldings, seats, spare jack, fuel tank and etc ) As I have been told, the engine was never taken out of the car ( its not working now ). Everything is mathing to fender tag...
So, here is my question:
I have found that the car has original old power steering. Which is good :) , but it is not listed on fender tag...
I would like to keep the Bee as original as possible.
So I dont know, how this power steering gets inside.
Was power steering standart equipment for Bees or someone put it in in past...
Thank you very much for your opinion.
And one more Im sorry for my English.
Im not from USA...
Thank you.
Tomas

The fender tag list only changes/additions to the BODY ..
Power steering is not part of the body so therefore not listed..
Power steering would be listed on the paper broadcast sheets in various places in the car..

Greetings, Tomas!
You're doing fine with your English, no worries.

Do you have the broadcast sheet for the car? It's typically found stuffed into the springs
of the back or bottom of one of your cars' seats (usually the back seat in a 1969) and
looks something like this:

Hallo Xenon and Moparedtn,
Thank you very much for your help and info...
The broadcast sheet is only thing I dont have :-(...
I allready unmounted all seats from the car and
completely disassemble the interior...
Front seats was open at the back...
Someone take it or was missing from factory.
I have found something under headliner under C pillar but it was so much demaged that there was nothing left to read... A lot of papers like book or something.
So, I dont have broadcast sheet anyway...
I was little bit upset, but what can I do...
Im happy that I can leave power steering there.
Its good news :)...

Thank you very much for everything !!
It helps me a lot :)

Thank you
Tomas

But I allready started to disassemble everything so it doesnt looks very nice now...
I have found a lot of rusty places and it looks it will takes years to finish it.
But Im happy anyway :).
I love that car...
Here is few pics when I get it.
Before disassembling...

Thank you.
Tomas

Welcome to FBBO. Your English is better than some of us have. LOL What a beautiful Bee. I hope you find the a build sheet during disassembly. They can also be under the seat back covers, taped to the top of the glove box, under the carpet and taped to the inside of the roof (if you take the headliner out) Keep us posted on your resto. It looks like a fun project.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing pics......

Love Bee's and yours looks very complete and original......

Since you don't have the BS...If you question the steering box, just confirm the date on the casting and if that equates to your build date then I would say it was original PS......If it was changed then the steering column shaft would had to be changed as well....By the looks of the car is it is I highly doubt that...

I highly recommend you to read this entire tread https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/mopa...-my-69-gtx-restoration.127388/#post-910629681 this is the most complete and accurate restoration portrait in this forum, and is a must read for all the members here imo of course.

Welcome to FBBO Tomas.
You live in a beautiful part of the world, and it looks like you have a pretty decent Bee there. Congrats, and good luck in the restoration. :)
