Hey all. New here on the site. I have always been a Ford guy, but have always liked the old polaras. Well I came across one that has been sitting in a barn since 86. Pulled it out last weekend and So the project begins. Like I said I have always been a Ford guy so will be dropping in from time to time for some help and your input from time to time. Just wanted to introduce myself.

I don't really know more details. Vin # from what I can tell just shows it is a polara. I believe it has a poly 318 in it. It has a bunch of numbers on a tag screwed to the inner fender on driver's side, but haven't been able to really find anything to decode it.

Welcome to the forum, I am also building a 64 Polara and haven't messed with a Mopar in 30+ years since my high school ride.I've found that there lots of very knowledgeable and friendly guys on here to help with info for your project. I bet if you post the info on the fender tag someone will tell you what it all means in very short order. You can also check out mymopar.com for decoding info.

Welcome and greetings from Sweden! Been down that road, you seem to have some barns with Polaras over there, mine has spent most of its Life in one too.

Welcome aboard from Ohio. Definitely a barn find, get to work!

Well after several days and lots of hours. I got all the interior stripper and mouse/rat nesting out of it (I think), and got her parked in her new spot to start stripping it down. It definitely took awhile to get it power washed lol.
