Just wondering what You All enjoy at the end of these Hot Humid Summer Work Days ? I pick up a few of these, chill a glass, and sit out back, in the shade, and fire up the grill ! Summer in Western New York, Cheers !

Last year I finally got the water line to the fridge's ice maker hooked up. First time I ever owned an automatic ice maker.

I'm pretty simple to please, so plain ice water is good for me.

When I have a Bob Ross "Shoot, let's get crazy" moment, it's iced apple cider.

Outshine fruit bars I forgot about those

We are rarely in the house in that kind of weather and cook outdoors.

NY strip steaks grilled on charcoal with apple tree shavings- unbelievable.

Sweet corn- soak in salt water, toss on grill, with the husk on!

Salt & Vinegar potatoes wrapped in foil, toss in the coals.

Dozens of Long Neck clams, steamed on grill, not in water!

Many Yuengling Lagers.....

Summer is the best!

I’m really enjoying the Crown Royal apple. Would love to get some of their peach flavored.
That and the hammock I got for Father’s Day.

The grocery store near me stocks those, I still prefer the blue can Foster.
I have been drinking some Subic Bay water recently.

Not all the time mind you, but on a hot humid night, these go down pretty good! With lime of course. If I’m feelin frisky, chased with a little shot or 2 of Crown once in a while. If I’m grilling, which is almost always, just the Corona. Don’t wanna mess up the cooking!

As the old saying goes;

When it's hot and sticky, no time for dunking dickie.

.....Unless you have central air conditioning.

:thumbsup:

Foster's? Heck, Aussies don't even drink that stuff!

Btw, its Jim BeaM. For the money, I'll take Old Crow over Mr. Beam.
When its hot out the microwave does a lot of cooking.

Have a summer house in the Catskill Mountains in upstate NY. The best is grilling with a few cold ones, then when the sun sets and it cools off, have a nice fire, a good cigar and some good bourbon !!!! Life is good!!! God bless America !!!! :usflag::usflag::usflag:

Right after the sun goes down my wife and I head to the pool. It's about a 8 foot walk from the bar - pool room. Obviously drink in hand!!

go out for a drive up to Pinecrest Lake/Res.

Sonora Pinecrest Lake #1.jpg

or maybe Kennedy Meadows
it gets cooler the higher upcountry you go

just need to stay away from all the flatlanders/tourists
well except the beauties, in bikinis are nice to watch

it's Gods Country, the Motherload

Right off my back/side deck here

Sonora Turkeys #2.JPG

I don't really need to go anywhere
I got some really nice country right behind me

Sonora Back property #1.JPG

or I just go upcountry to my aunts/now my cousin Stan's house
beer & BBQ

or I'll grab a few brews with the neighbor & his new
34,000 gal. $35k pool

I do love the summer,
after all, I am a born & raised Calif. Boy :poke:
it's my favorite time of year
(don't have to shovel snow either, is a huge plus)
BUT;
I don't do **** on my cars or trucks (work wise)
until it's cooler or it's evening, until the sun gets off the driveway
right in the front of my garage, all damn day
(asphalt really retains the damn heat too, you can add 20+*'s)
it's southeastern exposure,
so it gets all the morning & midday hottest sun
all damn day
But;
it does cool off mostly after the sun starts going down past/behind the ridge
much more bearable

enjoy

What fun is it to buy it at the store. I home brew. Orange Shandy is a summer favorite.
