Rubber Bumper Above Differencial Yoke

Think the one I posted won't fit that bracket.
 
Here is the one you need. I could not find one from any source, but I was able to find a NOS one for too much money, but needed it.

Wonder if you'd be better off modifying your bracket to fit the 8.75 bumper? $15.10 Unjess you gotta have original.

So Fran, are you saying what I showed and what Tim showed is for a different size diff? Mine is an 8.75 as you might be able to see in the pictures, so who knows how it got on there if that is true.

Didn't look at yours. When I saw the slot in his bracket I knew rubber piece I posted wouldn't fit.
Yours is a 489 housing, correct? I picked up a 1970 489 and the bracket on that looked like the one davak posted. Is yours right or wrong I don't know. It looks shorter than davak's and mine.

Think they go by body type rather than rear end other than Dana. Dana is different. 8.25, 8.75 and 9.25 should take the same ones. A, B and E take different ones.
I think, not positive .

Yes it is.
I've had few different ones that fit 8.25 and 8.75.
They may have been different ones for B-body too.
