Trying to install these things on 68 coronet:

https://www.manciniracing.com/benmaset.html

There were no instructions with them, none on the web site. So I assumed you torque to 75 ft lbs per the factory ("C" in the diagram). I chickened out before getting close to 75 ft lbs as it just didn't feel right. Called Mancini and everyone who knows anything is gone to the show (hell of a tech support model). Hoping someone has used them before and can shed some light on how these things go in. Thanks!

Here's a little more information. In all honesty, I've never put motor mounts in a Mopar, they may be working as designed and I just didn't realize it.

What's happening is, as I'm tightening the nut that holds the mount to the bracket (this is passenger side which doesn't have the bolt through it is my understanding), the stud is gradually pulling through the plate. You can see a little bit of the metal showing where it's pulled it so far. I took a mallet and tapped it back a little, it was protruding more.

Here's the motor mount bracket laid on there for reference. It sure feels like if I try and torque to 75 ft lbs, its going to pull that stud up a good 1/8" or better before the nut bottoms out on the threads.

That just seems wrong to me, but maybe it's supposed to work that way? It felt like it was compressing the rubber as I was tightening but it could have been my imagination.

The threaded stud is installed from the back of the plate embedded in the rubber. It should stop pulling through when it reaches the head/shoulder on the stud. Who knows what kind of fastener they used in there for a stud. You would think that it would be welded in place and not be pulling through. Or is that bolt going through the whole mount? Try contacting them tomorrow again. Ask for one of their cell phone numbers if they are at a show.

They may be branded as Mancini mounts but I'm pretty sure the vast majority of mounts are made by Anchor.

Looked up mounts on the Anchor site, they sure do look familiar.

Talked to Mancini today, the gentleman I talked to was a bit more helpful than the first person (it was after 5:00 EST to be fair). He confirmed that it will pull that stud up, and he also said that they do not torque them anywhere near 75 ft lbs. He suggested just getting good and tight with a normal size wrench, so I cranked up down good and tight and bolted them up. We'll see...

Thanks everybody, I suspect as usual I was over analyzing the situation.
