On my 1964 Polara, I have no brake lines, the hard lines. Anyone know the diameter and fitting sizes I need to get? I'm just going with the budget route and bending/running my own lines.
Thanks couldn’t remember if it was 5/16 or 3/165/16" is just over a quarter inch, TOO big. 3/16" should be the size, and as mentioned go with the nickel copper lines! You'll be doing yourself a huge favor as these are super easy to work with and they don't rust out.
I've swapped the single to a 73 A body master.Think with a single master 1/4" to block on frame rail then 3/16" to all wheel cylinders . 67 Dual master cylinder 5/16" everything, fittings on master different sizes.
I've done the opposite twice. Joking, my post was meant to confirm what I remember. Would think that to supply 4 5/16" lines more volume?I've swapped the single to a 73 A body master.
I'm installing an adjustable proportioning valve so I can tune it regardless. I went ahead and got 3/16 diameter tubing. it comes with multiple sized fittings so hopefully it'll work.I've done the opposite twice. Joking, my post was meant to confirm what I remember.
