Location
carroll county MD.
so I finally pulled the trigger and tore the old shop down, it was 24x40 with a single door.
I have a concrete pad out back with a lift because it would fit inside. I originally wanted a three car garage across from the house but the building restrictions wouldn't let me put it where I wanted it. that was to park the toys. so the contractor said why don't we just make this one bigger, ok by me. he was going to save some of it, remove the trusses and make it 46x40 and it will be 14' high in the center. I can move the lift inside.
here are some pix of the old shop being torn down. they set the new poles tomorrow. should be under roof by end of the week. then the concrete. but...
I am going to epoxy paint the floor so ill have to wait to use it
damn

Great, nothing like a new shop to get the blood flowing. Keep those pictures coming.

I had over 3 years of paper bullshit with the county I had to go through to get mine going...It was a PITA but will be worth it when its done...

Having a nice big flat area will make yours progress along a lot faster than mine has...

Hey, they’re moving right along with it! Looks great.

Dang!!!!!
I would of been happy with the old one!
But the new one wow!

I need to get out of the city and get some land so maybe one day I can have a shop to work out of

Wow, that looks great!

When you do the floor, remember don't put any speckles in it, you will never be able to find small parts.

almost done!
the doors are ordered they will match the ones on the house. only thing left to do is the final grading. Then I can run electric, air and the wi-fi. I think ill get a Big *** Fan too.
