70 Super Bee V-Code Car

I thought all 440 6bbl cars got a Dana?
My 70 V-code Roadrunner is a Track Pack car, but when I installed the Passon Performance a855 5 speed I put 4.10s in it at the same time.
WOW!

I did :)

How badly rusted is the underneath? Hoping for the best and it is pristine for you.

The front frame rails are good. There's a small hole under the rear seat and near the 4 speed hump but otherwise the floors are decent. The trunk pan is gone and one frame rail has a small hole in it, looks like a tear not rust.

It still has the original deluxe black front bench seat plus an extra set of bucket seats.

Although my 70 Roadrunner has a steel crank, heavy rods 71 440 in it, and that was better for me than #s matching (for one reason, I was able to afford it) it will always have that wonderful "V" in the VIN and in all of the other places the VIN appears. My point is that they were asking $59k for it, but I got it in the $4X,*** range.
If it was a #s matching car, I would not have been able to buy it and I may not have been able to do all of the mods that I am, have, and want to do with mine.
What I'm saying is that the wonderful V-code car you just bought can turn into whatever you want-factory correct or modded however you want, and it will always have that extra value of being a V-code, and if you top any engine you build for it with the 6bbl in mind, WOW! what a rush and amazing performance too!
CONGRATULATIONS!

Thanks! I'm very excited and looking forward to working on it. I've already dreamed about what I could/should do to it, luckily I'll have plenty of time to figure that out while I get some sheet metal replaced. I saw this bee at the nationals, almost the exact same car as the one I just got. The color was a different orange and mine had a few more options, but his was all original matching number. It had been a drag car its whole life.

Ya know, that's pretty cool! A Super Bee that has spent some 50 odd years fulfilling a drag racing heritage destiny, and looking GREAT doing it.
Again, congrats on the Bee you bought, it really IS special being a V-code, and a general "thank you" for rescuing it from returning to its base elements.

Resurrect it I shall. Luckily my dad is finishing up a charger that was in similar condition when he got it. Yeah I was hoping to see one similar. Maybe a different color or an automatic car, but almost the exact same car was cool. The paint color on his was amazing. It's was an ev2 color but it looked like it had pearl or metal flake in it. I've never seen that color from the factory before but it was really nice.

EV2 - Hemi Orange does have a hint of pearl
