I realize the SB isn't as popular in the B bodies, but this is one heck of an offering for anyone shopping a SB!!! wanted to throw this out to you guys also!

The day is finally here where I have enough paperwork done to offer you guys the brand new, roller cam, forged piston, BluePrint 408.

I'm posting here first, as once this goes on the website, and public, there will be a BIG backlog of engines, so I want to reach out to anyone here that would be interested before the wait goes from 45 days to 80 (due to reseller intro orders)

Let me start off by saying this engine is an awesome upgrade from the flat tappet 408.
Minimum HP is 465, Min Torque is 494. Actual output will be this AT MINIMUM.
Thats up 20+ HP from the Flat tappet, as well as upgraded to roller cam, and roller valvetrain.

Base longblock 6399
Dressed with an intake/carb/dist 7299
Turn key with aircleaner, plugs, wires, Water pump, damper, fuel pump 7799
Can do a holley sniper also if desired

Damn Johnnny... where were you when I was at Street Muscle Magazine trying to get you guys to release info on the 408 so I could write it up? LOL... I called so many times I think they got tired of hearing from me there.
I'm still writing for them, just not the editor any longer. I wish I knew you were there two years ago when I started on my 408 stroker build... but you know those guys, all about the LS, not the Mopars. haha I just completed my build a few months ago. I ran with Magnum heads on my '73 360 block.

Hey buddy, we crossed paths back at my previous employer correct? I have been with BluePrint for 2 years now. Great company. I think I started barking for a roller 408 on day 1 of my employment. Maybe even at my interview lol.

Yes the other guys I used to be with were all GM. We all know I'm a big mopar guy....I sleep alot happier at night with BPE :) even had some gen III hemi meetings recently. (See my other thread over in the hemi section)

Too bad that it would look like a lawnmower engine in my engine compartment.

Were you with working over there with Richard or was it someplace else? I talked to the guys at BP about 4 years ago, I wanted to help promote the 408 and I was told it was "in the works" but that never came to fruition. Glad to see the work you're doing there, we have one of your 355s in one of our project cars where I'm working now.

I've been here about 2 years, i thought we crossed paths at "Pace" but maybe not. I was with another major ohio reseller prior, so may have even been there.

glad you approve of the new workings! doing what i can to keep us in the mopar game!

oh Pace.... man, those guys there. I was supposed to do an article with them on Crate Engines last year. 6 months later they're still not responding, then complained that they were getting any media coverage. I emailed five times, no reply.

I started working at Champion Cooling 2 years ago and some change, it was a bit of a vertical move, but I still do a couple articles a month, helps pay bills... lol

Well, good to meet you (again?) and glad to see we got someone on our side in there.
Here's my stroker I had built... Just waiting on trans work and then it goes in the 65!

Johnny Mac, Any up date on the 408 ? It's been awhile from it's release date.Just wondering If you know of anyone running it first hand and how streetable it is ? Meaning A/C PS PB and the like.

Oh they are awesome engines...I got the flat tappet variation, but with the Holley Sniper on top, I have no tuning issues. Start it up, drive it and have fun.
I recommend anyone looking for a 408 stroker engine to give @Johnny Mac a call at the very least. Great guy to deal with.

This run below was a lazy first up for the day last December. Ran a mid 14 in the truck. First meeting I went to, managed a 13.0 with the same gear....different day, different mindset.

Have sold dozens. Tons of happy customers. Does much better on the dyno, both on HP, and filter tests. Awesome offering, and honestly better than the LA in about every way.

I actually sell a complete front drive with AC too.
