My 64 plymouth has everything deleted. I like that look. Radio delete, heater delete, blower switch delete, clock/tach delete. Big tach on top and oil pressure/temp below dash. Simple and clean

Damn it Doug that's beautiful. Thank you

Steve, where did you get your delete plates?, looks great.

A guy on this forum had heater delete plates for sale for a while. I think they were recast or 3D printed or something like that. Radio delete is an original I found on eBay and same with the clock delete. Joe Suchi had some heater deletes recently and that’s also where i got the blower knob delete.

Thanks will look into it. Joe's and Kramer's had some radio delete I think got in my notes. Wasn't ready at the time now I wish I would have just got it.

Paint vs. chrome on dash parts. I know that only the outer edge looks to have been chrome on my 64' with the rest being a silver paint ? ( it's badly faded at this point). I really don't want to pay to have all of it chromed just to paint over 95% with silver. Any ideas as to options?. Dvw did you opt to chrome part of the dash and paint the rest? , i'm not sure how the Plymouths were compared to the Dodges. Looks good.

Maybe there are some examples of some painted with a nice silver or argent color . Would love to see some pictures and find out what paint codes /color or manufacturer they are .

Dan I think that the Canadian model of the Dodge has the Plymouth dash. Really like the round gauge look. Instead of the slider speedo may look into this a little deeper. Have you look at maybe a chrome wrap. Just thinking out loud

Yes this is true. Canadian dodge had the Plymouth round bezel dash. A good thing to look into are the model car paints. A friend of mine uses this “paint pen” that self levels and looks identical to chrome (well very close). I have used it for touch ups

Nice layout! I see you moved the trans buttons to the right...is this a manual valve body and having switched the gear selection setting 1st where D had been?
The roll cage was in the way of the shifter. So over to the right it went. That was easy. The new bezel was a bit tricky. Made a fixture to cut and swap the button ends for the manual valve body.

As a pushbutton fan I read up on the history of the drag race legends who relished that bullet proof reliable setup and one had his '65 racer re-equipped with a '64 button setup when mopar dropped the buttons. Some preferred the buttons on the right as would make sense for ease of access and such. Interesting history.
