Down sizing and thinning the heard...Sold 2 so far.

71 years old and have been doing this for over 52 years.

I like the car. I don't like you feeling the need to sell it. I felt the need to clarify, it should be enjoyed as long as you can.

I understand the feeling you get at a certain time in life. I sold my X a few months ago and it still hurts. If I’d have kept it I’d still be in the same situation that got me to sell it. But the guy I sold it to back home is enjoying the heck out of it as well as his whole family. Do I have regrets - yeah. Would I still sell it - yeah. It’s a tough one but at some point it maybe someone else’s turn to enjoy it.

I enjoyed it for the last 8 years and have several others that need to be enjoyed also. Just can't keep up with all the toys and life. Been there done that now for too long.

I am in same boat as you exactly,;.... wife loves the 62 Lancer Toad, I have a 62 Dart (B body ) more door, both projects. Decided that I will sell off the other cars. All F bodies. Sold the 71 Duster while back. Two cars will be enough. Thin the herd. I have thinned it many times before.

I think as we get older when knew when it is a good time to thin things out Good luck.

You put it on Ebay and then posted a personal ad in the General Forum for sale which is against the rules like I explained to you in a PM. WTF!? What is so hard about posting an ad in the classified section???? WTF! And like I mentioned in the PM, I don't make the rules. WTF? WTF is the same thing you said in the PM and here you are saying it again. I'm 68 and I understand what's going on here. Why don't you? Are we supposed to turn our heads to you because you think the rules don't apply to you? WTF?? So now you have your 'ad' posted again in the General Forum....again, what's the problem with using the classifieds? It is what the classified section is for!! So why can't you use it?
