came across a 1965 belvedere front clip..told by numerous people that its just a straight swap from my 63 front end,,well,,,,,,almost! there's always little alighnment issues that pop up except,,,the bumper,, coming down to the end and put the bumper on,,appx 2 1/2" out from grill..looks like the bumper extentions from radiator support r longer on the 63 than the 65...

anybody done this swap before? obviously the bumper bracket will need a serious mod,,,will not cut the car bumper mount,,thanks.

I always thought the bumper mounting area on the front of the frames rails was the same for 62-65. I probably have both a 63 and 65 rail down in the yard that I can check. So the inner fender wells and core support are original to your 63? Just changed the bolt on stuff right?
I know, just thought of it. 63 and 64 have an aluminum filler piece.
