wow some of the questions I see on forums just blow me away.........what did people do befor the internet. where can I get this , how do you do that, what is this, how does that work?
every ones a you tube expert these days
you are right i had to depend on others to teach me what i know and what i broke to know how to build and repair . i never liked reading but i had to force my self to and man what i learned made it the most fun with racing and hot rod muscle cars. finding parts was a pain swap meet after swap meet then the rip off guys now with the internet you dont have to think others do it for you. when i came to this site i was looking for parts NOT HOW TO SET TIMING OR WHAT EVER. not trying to be rude but with men like moparnaiton74 i was impressed after 40 years as a master a.s.e technician and highly trained in o.b.d globe and everything back to the first computer enhanced motioning / control i have learned from some of you while i retake my car back to the street. with that said buy a book AND READ IT. build a library for your self and read read and you will be amazed at what you can do. dont mean to be rude just saying...We utilized service manuals, magazines and talking to other owners.....
Family members also grew up in a time where they too serviced everything and we learned a lot through them....
Well now you have access to all of them.I thought there were a lot less ignorant ******** on earth before the internet.
On everything... I love getting the call to repair a stupid commode, but first I have to hear them lament how nothing worked out like it did in the Youtube instructions!
And some idiots still can't figure it out! Most of all, we even learned how to spell properly without the internet.
