Would anyone have any paint codes for it?

thanks.

Frank Badalson sell’s it. Not cheap but it looks nice. He says it is PPG Delstar.

I couldn’t find a code to have it made.

I looked up race hemi paint in a can and came up with several selling it . I know you want to use paint in a gun . Mopar performance has it . Hope this helps John

Actually looking to mix up a regular quart can, to paint it on with a brush.
I have a Highland Park Engineering circle track engine that had the block painted by brush, I kid you not. A lot of it was missed, too. Looks "splotchy". That's why I was looking for the code.
Heard it was made by R-M, back in the day. (early 60s)
Thinking it would have an alternative number from DuPont, or ??? I could follow up.

Max Wedge/Race Hemi Orange is the same as body EK2 without the metallic.

There was a looong discussion about mopar orange engine colors a while back. If i remember right, we decided there were four different shades of mopar orange engine paint.
I'll see if i can find it.

I couldn't find the exact thread i was looking for, but the gist of it was: there is race hami orange, used on max wedges and 64-66 race hemi, very yellow-orange. Then there is street hemi orange, 66-71 street hemis and some 383 and 440s. That color is not the same as used on the outside sheet metal. Then there is a variation somewhere along the way where street hemi orange changed shade, concencess seems to be around 71. And then there is yet another shade of orange used on the air cleaners. We wont talk about where chevrolet orange is in this mess
The amount of red in the orange varies all over the place. I would suggest using tbe search function here, and put in "orange engine paint" or some variant, there's hours of info, and some formulas to look at.

Yes, Street Hemi Orange changed at some point but one of them is the same or real close to body EV2 without the metallic.

At this point in time I think it's gonna be real hard to say what's correct since even a survivor's paint is gonna be faded.

I got this code from my Painter, and Reliable source. PPG code for Omaha Orange is 60436. He blends his own Race Hemi Orang so no code for that, and may be somewhat different ?
