Cool car I picked up this weekend. Had a date with the crusher September 8th so had to save it. Sitting since 75

Back in the early Seventies a local used car dealer had a '65 383 4 speed Sport Fury conv. I didn't have enough cash and he wouldn't give me enough on my trade. Good to see a C Body 4 speed saved! More pictures. Under the hood?

C body 4 speeds are RARE! Good save!

That would have been a cool car, hopefully it’s still around somewhere. I’ll have to take some more pictures once I clean it out more.

I ended up signing up to C bodies only to post this car. Admins can delete this thread if it’s an issue.

Nice save from the crusher.

Am I right in thinking that the wheel we can see is a Ford wheel?

No problem with this thread staying here in FBBO IMHO. :)

Yep Ford rim he said they were off of a Torino GT. They were the only two he could find that held air haha

Nice.

Old car friendly scrap yard near me has a loaded 67 fast top 383 4 speed Fury but won't sell it because he doesn't have a title. He sells other old cars though if he has the title.

That’s too bad. I’m lucky where I’m at you only need bill of sale to get titled/registered.

It's a neat car- blue with blue int, buddy seat, AC, PW and remote pass mirror among other things

Cleaned out the Sport Fury to see what was hiding. Found a few suprises but about what I expected. Drivers fender was replaced with an NOS piece still had part number stamp. Bees decided to make a hive right where the buildsheet should have been

2 more pictures. Forgot to take a picture but the trunk floor is toast, however the rear frame rails are in good shape.

LOVE the steering wheel!

Er, uh, grip.

Very cool. Only thing I ever did to mine was add power steering and brakes. Was going to restore it but I couldn't justify the $1500 everyone wanted for a package tray. Car ran good though.
