If you have the car for that correct of a restoration, I guess its not bad. The fiberglass look alike is much much less and one cannot tell the difference from 3 feet.

Aren't those repros new going for about 1,200 anyhow?
An all out original one would be fetching close to three or four grand.
I would say that if you must have an aluminum version offer them less or just go with a $400 version in fiberglass.

I saw it or one like it some time back. My first thought was if it's not straight and flat it's going to be a pain to get right. I bought this one from AAR for $340.00 and never looked back
