i am working on my 69 Charger and I have to replace the cardboard insert on the glove box. The old one was water damaged and torn which came out without a problem. The new one I can’t figure out how to put it in without damaging it and am worried about damaging it while putting it in. Anyone replace this before and any suggestions how to install it? Thanks

Thanks. I am just nervous about damaging it, I thought I was doing it wrong

As noted above, just sort of squeeze it down, the passenger side sort of gives way. It will fit, just takes some finesse.

Go slow and be careful. They were installed from the other side at the factory, before the dash was in the car.

Ok, cool. I was afraid of having to pull the dash which would have sucked, lol

The screw hole alignment on some of the repo's is not perfect either. It can be difficult all around.
