What did you do to your Mopar today?

After weeks of rerouting, repairing, and replacing wiring in the Charger, today I hoped for the best and turned the key. I was very relieved when it started.

After almost a month without even sitting in my car, took it for a nice one hour cruise and left a White Challenger in my rearview mirror as I entered Barham going up over the hill behind the WB studios in Burbank.

The 911 that came up from behind once I reached the bottom sitting at the red light would have been fun.

Very, very nice!

Motor is back in the 65. Everything is back on and tight. Fluids in. It cranks. Just need to start it now.

Hubba, Hubba!

I believe a member started a thread on here with a question about getting the valve cover off of the passenger side. Is there a clearance issue on yours? Is there any modification on the shock tower on a '65 with a Hemi?

KK, I have to remove the front shock to get the passenger valve cover off and the m/c is offset on the driver side. Shock towers are not modified on my car.

Got the Power Wagon's rear interior panels dyed and installed. Tunes all hooked up.

Said hello numerous times, as I walked between both to get a beer from the 7UP cooler ! 28 days and counting to wedding time and I'm fixing grass cutting equipment instead of cleaning up the "venue" ! :soapbox:

Replacing the FiTech Command Center with a Tanks Inc. efi tank with fuel pump. Figured it would be a weekend job. Yeah right.

Took the terrible rear speakers out of the rear package tray and installed new ones below it , put a new reproduction cover on . Then drove to my grandsons birthday party ,

That's an absolutely beautiful Coronet 500!! Thanks for sharing, but, I'd like to see more of it!
Thank you I will

Thanks guys , This is the original color in and out . The interior is probably 80 % original . Everything except seat covers and rear package tray are original . has a 383 mild cam and 727 with 2500 stall , with 4-10 posi rear . I really can not take credit for much of the build as I got lucky and found it almost as you see. The owner passed away and his son did not want the car. We came to an agreement and I got an amazing car for a great deal .

parked a bunch of Silver Sport boxes next to the 66

a 727 to the 5-speed tko should be a weekend swap right?

Put Bilsteins on all four corners of the 90 Dodge/Cummins W250.
Replace the front pads while I was there.

This afternoon I gave all the Charger's precious fluids, belts & hoses a good looking at & checked tire pressures.
It needed nothing. Then I washed it. Tomorrow morning is 'Get the hell out of Dodge' (in a Dodge?) day.

I’ve been doing the paint and body on this 71 Dart for a friend.

I wasn’t supposed to touch the bottom, as a previous owner POR15’d it years ago.
My friend stopped over and decided he wanted to paint he bottom after all.

I’ve been removing POR15 for 2 weeks. Chemical stripper and a power washer. This Dart is super clean.
