"B" Bodies With 17" Wheels.........Post Your Photos

that looks amazing, later in the future im thinking about painting the car a grey like that or possibly a little darker. Or just keep it how it is and add a turbo:thumbsup:

Run the turbo and keeper a ratty sleeper!

That grey paint is awesome!

Thanks, it’s acually a lambo color called Grigio telesto grey. Really cool, it has a fine metal flake so in the sun it has good flop but looks like a flat grey too.

That's what I was wanting to paint my charger
Looks awesome

17" all around, Hate them. Went back to the 14's for now.
If you don't have power steering and brakes it a bitch to drive.

Those wheels go nicely with the paint and belt-line graphics
I wasn't a fan of the stripes at first, but I must say after the wheels I'm starting to like them.

Found a set of 17in Year One Rallyes fairly local to me. Always wanted to see them on my 71 RR so I bought them... needless to say I didn’t like the look over my steelies!
I guess I’ll keep them around until I find something I like them on ‍♂️

I am sure that (as I am) there are quite a few "B" Body owners that are thinking about putting 17" wheels and tires on their cars. Thought maybe I could get those of you who have already changed over to 17" could post photos of your cars so those of us "on the fence" about it can see how they look. Wheels and tires are not cheap so we want to try and get it right the first time.
There are a few tire/wheel sites out there that have a "wheel visualizer" so one can see how a certain brand/type/size wheel looks on their car/truck but there is nothing like seeing the "real thing".
So again to all 17" wheel owner's, please post photos.

Thanks

I am in the same situation, I would like to upgrade the 14 inch wheels on the 68 RR. I have seen some cars with 15 and some with 17 inch wheels. The 17 inch wheels seem to be a requirement for big disc brake conversions. Are there any other advantages to the bigger wheels?

I'm considering buying the U.S. Wheel steelies in 17", and running them with dog dishes for my '68 Charger? Anyone have pics or experience with this combo?

Finally got my baby on all four feet for the first time in almost 3 years! Ridler 18" rims, Cooper Zeon tires, 9" wide in front and 11" on the rear....making progress!

Wiring is being done by a fellow FBBO member and doing an excellent job! With any luck, may be able to hear it run in the next few weeks.
