Heading out to a gun show.....y'all

OK...Good point. But I still subscribe to the adage that no one other than Uncle Sam needs to know what I have, etc. If it makes one feel empowerment then I would be more inclined to walk softly and carry a big stick...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

Good point but anyone that sees me go to range know s what I have and easily could follow me home! As long as there locked up and the defense weapons are only where me and my family Know were good !
Honestly our area is a bunch of retired vets last person that tryed to rob someone didn't make it ,we had a few case the places during hurricane
We all basically had a gun show in our yards we all hung out with our "big sticks" the threw traffic decreased by alot !

My latest, 450 Bushmaster 10"pistol. Legal for late deer muzzleloader season this year. Suppressor on the way. Or good bedside weapon. Will go through doors and walls in a house. Mr. Burglar better beware.

Is that the Taurus Judge or the S&W Governor? I have the Judge and love it. I pack it out in BLM land when shooting for varmints, and Snakes. The 410 shot shells in bird shot do a number on them Snakes. I wanted one when I was residing in CA but it is banned there because it is classified by Commiefornia as a "Short Barreled Shot Gun", because of the .410 loads. I had to get mine while living and working in FL and when I retired, I brought it back with me. Never got the chance to shoot it there and had to keep it locked up in a hidden place just in case.Sometimes I carry a .22 Mag Revolver along with my Henry .45 LC. I mean I do live in the West after all. Most of my other assortment is all built by me and no Marquee brands but Mil Spec parts. I have a small machine shop to build anything in that realm, and work on them. Re-load what I cannot afford because of the cost and scarcity of those calibers like my 6.5 X 50 Jap. Most here in my neck of the world are either retired Military, Law Enforcement, and First Responder's so we have a very tight nit group should the need arise. I haven't been to a Range since I left CA and quite frankly, I am not much of a fan of them. Just too damn many idiots wanting to be a bad *** or Rambo. But they do serve a great value when shooting for a qualification course of fire and Personal Defense/CCW training. Other than that I just go out into BLM land, find a safe place away from people and carefully check for dry brush and rocks so I don't cause a grass fire. And I always carry a rather large fire extinguisher should the need arise. But for the most part, I keep to myself and don't advertise as I stated before. Just me and my training and background...cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:

I don't get what your trying to say? Light side being what? Holding it tighter? It's a borked up design flaw with the mags. They fit loose, wiggle around when inserted, :blah::blah::blah::blah:, Savage won't do anything to fix it, it's a POS gun made by Savage. It's no wonder why I love my Henry, up to 22 rounds of non-jamming fun!!
I was wondering if it was light weight....and many semi auto pistols, if you don't have a firm grip on them, they can jam.

It's the Taurus public defender ( slightly smaller then judge) I traded my German hsc for it ! I'm quite happy with it !

Savage 64 is a semi auto underneath mag fed rifle with a sloppy receiver for the mag.

Alot of .22 ammo is junk ! I only run cci ammo now I had a bucket of Remington ammo , it's like a kid loaded them bullets were ether loose in the case or crooked!

Thank God it's not main line ammo the failure rate on most of it is terrible!
As for a semi auto anything running .22
If you have any loose ness it won't cycle right !

Do they offer a 'guns for dummies' book?? Cause I think I need to buy one!

There's to many weapons on the market to keep track of everything by everybody that available. Funny how people gravitate toward certain manufacturer's and shy away from others. There's lots that I don't know too.

You’re already in Tx., just go to Killough’s. Couple K’s for a single shot .22. My oldest put this together & sometimes I get to fondle it!
