Anyone doing this? I know the pressure washer has to be at least 3500 psi/3gpm. Thanks

We had a machine at work that used a abrasive combined with high pressure water. It had a recovery system and was involved and required maintenance often. When it worked it did a good job. It was enclosed similar to any blasting cabinet. Without a containment system id think it would make a big mess.
But id still be interested to see a system that incorporated a pressure washer and how it performs

We had a 60 Pontiac Ventura done . The blasting work was real good. But the cleanup was just about the same as the normal sand blasting. Not much for warpage. But that depends on how good the person operating the equipment is .

Northern tool sells a cheap kit to do it, I ended up just sandblasting using glass, stiil cleaning it of vents, etc

They have some decent ones that attach to the end of your wand and siphon the abrasive up and out.
got to say, for very little investment they work pretty good!

Good way to ruin the pump on the pressure washer. Otherwise, get er done!

The abrasive doesn't go anywhere near the pump! The whole thing mounts to the END of the nozzle. Look it up!

I’m referring to the old way, stick a hose in the media and let the pump suck it up.

Never heard of that way! Gulp!
