Hard to beleve it only brought $50,000 in my opinion.

I called the auctioneer and that's the number he said.
Sometimes auctions have runaway deals. I call them grenades. Everybody is standing around looking at the item and wondering why nobody bids. That's when I dive on it and save everybody else from a great deal.

What are you guys seeing with the price of the coronets/satellite hemi cars? I'm in MN, and at Mopars in the park, there was a decent 67 hemi Coronet selling for 35,000 obo. Original motor etc. I thought that was a damn good price and contemplated a 2nd mortgage. ..

I know they are.less desirable, but are prices on driver Hemi cars coming down?

It was a 4 speed to boot. Just not the right people in the room? Selling your self you deal with tire kickers an the who want it for half price. A fried selling a 61 Vette had a guy come with an agreed from Ky with a trailer. Looked at it yes it just as you said. Went talked his wife no deal. WTF

Here's me doing my homework I wonder if it has disc brakes in front because it has the Dual diaphragm booster for the master cylinder I know that in 67 the big block cars you could get disc brakes and maybe with the Hemi cars in 66 you could too anybody? B Euler?

Those boosters came on 66 and 67 Hemis with both drum and disc. It would have to be an option for drum, power brakes came with the disc option automatically. The booster also came standard on 66 and 67 B-bodies with disc and big block, in 66 the master was special and had an extension ring to add extra volume to the master reservoir. In 67 big blocks came with the normal looking dual set up with a basket wire hold down. They also had the ports on the engine side for big blocks and fender side for Hemis. Here is a pic of a 66 Coronet 440 vert 383 4bbl, 4 SPD with the power disc option, note the extension ring:

I'd say that $50k was a good deal for the car, based on the pics.

Was it a running/driving car? Any documentation?

Yes, running/driving and in good shape. No idea on documentation. I even saw it on Craigslist after the show, haven't seen it since tho

If it was an original Hemi car, it should have sold in a flash for that.

Here's another one I ran across online, in the 30's, seems low, I know nothing about it
