How much longer is this darn thing going to set on top the Bahamas? The suspense has got to be getting to the ridicules level for the east Florida coast.
I dont know but my son is part of the flight crew that will be trying to fly into Nassau the Bahamas tomorrow. How much longer is this darn thing going to set on top the Bahamas? The suspense has got to be getting to the ridicules level for the east Florida coast.
Sheesh.Ok, so lets move everybody out of Florida, most of the costal states all the mid west states prone to tornados and Ca. who cares anyway.
All so your tax dollars aren't used for disasters that may happen in those places
As a Californian, I am hurt by this sentiment.Ok, so lets move everybody out of Florida, most of the costal states all the mid west states prone to tornados and Ca. who cares anyway.

What could go wrong?
Once those houses fall in, the houses across the street now become ocean front homes and the city/town can then tax them as such. In this scenario, the city/town won't lose.
Actually its not, its a reflection of your attitude. Florida and a lot of the Eastern seaboard gets hurricanes, should everyone move away?Calling the entire Mid-west a danger zone is far fetched and everyone knows it. Weather does have repeat patterns. Rebuilding in the same areas over and over doesn't make sense. I'm okay with not rebuilding Moore, Oklahoma the next time it gets flattened.
Colorado Springs will have another blizzard, it just doesn't cost billions in tax dollars every time.

Sure...let's have everyone move out of New Orleans and SHUT DOWN THE PORT.A prime example for me is how hundreds of $Millions/$Billions get spent rebuilding New Orleans every time a hurricane wipes 'em out - even though entire chunks of that region are actually BELOW SEA LEVEL.
I mean, come on already - you don't want to risk losing everything in a flood, then don't live BELOW SEA LEVEL, right?
I think that would depend on if you like hurricanes or not and the mess that they leave behind. If it doesn't bother you and you want to take the chance, stay, that's pretty simple.Actually its not, its a reflection of your attitude. I'll thank you not to attribute words to me that I neither spoke or wrote.Sure...let's have everyone move out of New Orleans and SHUT DOWN THE PORT.
If you want to see an economic and strategic DISASTER, that's a great plan!
