hi there fellow mopar guys. i am building a garage and looking to put a lift in it so i can continue the mopar hobby with my son and family. i have been looking at a bendpak 2 post lift and wanted to get some input from you guys. i am tall (6ft3) so the XPR-10AXLS (SKU number 5175193 to be exact, its the tall boy version) model is really attractive since it has one of the highest lift ratings so i dont bump my head on the bottom of the lifting arms. my ceiling height is 18ft so no worries there. I have seen alot of bendpak lifts being used on TV but to tell you the truth i am not too crazy about them being made in china. my question to you guys is: (A) what do you think of bendpak? (B) any other suggestions on different companies?

any input would be appriciated. if you have any experience with bendpak please chime in. i would like to know the quality, the support from the company, their installers, and the availability of replacement parts if needed. Thanks!

2 post Bendpak
My buddy got one.
I want one, but the garage has to be built.

My brother has a Rotary Lift Model SPOA10. It is
a "Rotary" lift asymmetrical rated for 10,000 lbs.; 2hp, 220volt.

He has had it for around 10 years (if I recall correctly) and uses it a lot. No issues. He likes it.

My dad and I installed a 10k bendpak in his shop end of last year. Only used it a handful of times but it’s worked flawlessly. Was pretty easy to assemble. Excuse the mess and the Ford, that mustang is my mom’s dream car. Don’t recall the model number, but I can look next time I’m down there.

My BendPak has been flawless. I work alone most of the time, so it really comes in Handy !

As noted above. Rotary is great. Excellent service network to support installation and any issues.

That's Just one of the arms from a 2 post lift, with a couple of slings to lift the Elephant out. I installed the lift, so I know the anchoring is solid...

I kinda figured that's what I was seeing, thx. I assume that operation is a no-no according to the manual?? But you do get used to your own equipment and learn its limitations.

I've never used a bendpak but have used many Rotary lifts. Also some larger twinposts and wheel lifts. I can say that the asymmetrical is the way to go for cars or anything under 6k.
anything over I like a symmetrical lift due to the weight involved. The lift I have now is a 9k symmetrical because I also use it for my 2500 truck which weighs 8k empty full of fuel and is long. so if you use it for more then cars look a little bigger rating, you can always lift less. one thing to keep an eye on is the lift pad height spec. Mine will lift the challenger, my wife's girl car and larger trucks so it gives you more flexibility.
