I've been wanting to replace my old stamped steel valve covers for a while. Finally ordered the desired set about 10 days ago from Jegs. I get an mail a few days back that they are apparently on back order and ETA for shipping was supposed to happen this week. I get another email on Tuesday with a "No ETA" on shipping from Jegs. I call Jegs. No ETA from the manufacturer either. Started checking around online, and it seems like no one actually has them. 1 guy has a used set on eBay for more expensive than online. Even Amazon says shipping withing 1 to 3 months. WTF? Are these black cast valve covers suddenly more valuable then gold, bitcoin or whatever the Hell else? Good Lord.

Short answer........yes
Wait til you try to find the matching air cleaner
Your best bet is a swap meet. Or,
There were some on sale here a while back, post a WTB ad.

I have a set of bb blue mopar performance covers
and I never see them for sale anymore

That shipping date from Summit is assuming Mopar has them and they probably don't anymore. It seems like Mopar has stopped making what we want and need. Mopar was the first with the Direct Connection parts and now GM has left them in the dust. It's sad that Mopar has dissed all us diehards that try and run their cars.

You are oh so right. I'ts real difficult with the Mopar stuff and support. I'm also working on my LS in my Camaro and parts and support are like a kid in a candy store! Hey, any one drop an LS engine in a Cuda?

Classic Industries shows them in stock for $190.
There's some others out there, but folks want $260 for 'em.
As many sets of those as have been sold over the years, surely they can be found used as well?
They seemed so common at one point in recent history that I decided I didn't want 'em for mine. :)

Got them from Mancini. They had some sets. $160 plus shipping. Thanks for the suggestions guys.
