Gentlemen,
I have a '67 satellite, originally a 318 car, with a 360 motor in it. Recently I completed an 1100 mile road trip, and my rubber oem-style motor mounts are shot. Almost sheared through on the driver's side.

There are so many options out there for motor mounts, I would like to get your opinions on what to run for my application. This is a mild motor, just intake, carb and headers low compression smog motor, probably 250-300 hp tops. Street driven, no racing.

I'm trying to figure out the difference between 318 and 360 mounts. What year model should I order to fit a 360 in a '67 b-body?

Should I just put OEM-style rubber back in, as they are very inexpensive? Mancini solids seem like a good idea but this is a cruising car and people complain about vibes. I don't mind vibration at idle as long as things are smooth while rolling. I drive this car very frequently, it is by no means a garage queen.

Later small block k-members used all the same motor mounts. Seems Rockauto doesn't even list a 67 Satellite with a 360ci.
In regards to rubber vs poly or other motor mount bushings, I prefered to stay with the rubber. I have poly everywhere else. I don't need undiagnosed vibrations from motor mounts.

Rubber replacement mounts are ridiculously cheap. Like $3-6 each on Rockauto. For that price, even if they fell apart in a couple thousand miles it would be no big deal. Poly-locs, solids and all the other options cost $100 plus.

IMO, a solid on the drivers side wont cause too much vibration, and the others will wear no more after that (or very very slowly).

Just get the rubber 318 mounts and you will be fine. It doesn't matter that it is a 360 now. Just look them up on Rockauto to get a part number, and check locally. It should be and "Anchor" brand part number.
