Greetings, may be closing a deal soon and car has original broadcast sheet but very faded. What s recommendation to :

1) transfer information to a reproduction sheet to capture all codes before they fade further and may no longer be readable.
2) preserve original document from further damage and fading.

Feedback much appreciated.

I put mine in a sealed plastic file folder, and hid it in a lockbox, took five xerox's ( ok, fax copies, whatever) took a good color photo with both my tablet and phone, sent to a file on the laptop, and desktop.

Historical documents can be read even if they were erased and written over. Someone maybe able to digitally enhance the printing on broadcast sheet.

I agree with high quality photos and copies. For storage, go to a comic book store and buy an acid free board and cover used to protect comic books and magazines.

does the car have the orig fender tag. if so don't worry about the build sheet. sleeve it and put it away.

Use a flatbed scanner, works very well. You can digitally add contrast and brightness which helps read some of the faded areas.
