I bought this 1968 Charger when I was 16 years old with the help of a co-sign loan with my Dad while I worked part-time at the car wash. It was my first car.

It had a warmed up 318 in it when I got it. Over the next couple years I would acquire a 69 440 engine that I saved up my money and rebuilt. Then, with the help of a friend, we put a nice B5 blue paint job on it. Shortly after it was done I decided I wanted to go to college and sold the car on eBay in 2001. The guy who bought it is now selling it due to health issues.

Check out my old Charger...

Beautiful car.

Thanks!

Happy the car found a great home. He's taken really great care of it. It looks like the day it left 18 years ago. I hope the next buyer will take equally great care of it and that it doesn't end up in a Fast & Furious movie or something.

What is done since you owned it? It's a nice car and has a standout look.

He's done nothing to it other than drive and enjoy it. It's exactly what he wanted and kept the car the way I built it. In fact, it has the same tires I put on it all those years ago.

It's super honoring. That and it's apparently going to sell for 30K plus. Wow, just wow.

Its a nice car. Good thing he took care of it. I have decided if I sell my car I don't want it to be local and have to see it around.

hard to beat a '68 Charger. Beautiful car.Miss mine.

I don't have the first Charger that I ever owned, but I still have the third one. I bought the car in 1981. My daughter in the pictures is 31 years old now. I have had over 100 of them since. That is a nice 68 you built. It's a tough time to buy a second generation Charger, the market is still very strong.

Compsyn,
That’s a very nice car. You had great taste for Cars at sixteen. Are you considering trying to get the car back? I think that would be cool to have your first car.

If you had that much drive at sixteen todo all of that to that car, My hat is off to you!
It's a beautiful car. 68's & 70's are the best! I'm surprised that the price is so high
being a 318 car to begin with. What's a matching numbers one worth?

I'm sorry, when I worked at a body shop when I was a kid, I soon realized
that every week a vehicle's value changed. Not for the better! I know that
our cars actually appreciate in value, But if Haggerty says it's worth $X.0000,
then that's it! If I buy it and it gets wrecked the next day that's it.

Very close twin to my 68, I had blue interior.
Drove it to every state on a solo trip out of high school 1980
318 auto.
Wonderful car, never let me down

the current bid is $30,200 2:20 pm pst 9/11/19
a steal right now, even for a clone of a 68 R/T

nice car
