Several years ago my dad could barley stand or walk. Over multiple visits the VA diagnosis was "inflammation" for which he was prescribed pain killers and muscle relaxers. Went to a local hospital ER. Turned out to be 3 damaged discs. Surgery had him straightened up and walking again. A couple weeks ago he walked up the ramps at the W Sox game with out issue at 87 now.
Bingo.
exactly the same problem, except i have some other broken things as well.
mysteriously, the xrays were never shown to me and no conclusions were reached.
'except of course,the " inflamation "
i was prescribed some horse pills which i told them from the Start i didnt want.
then to top off my experience with the va,i had an appt with one of the group.
he was supposed to meet me At the hospital, and no showed..
a half hour later,i called him and he said o hey just take yourself in there do whatever.
stop by once you are done..
okay,so i blunder thru the va hospital and get tests done and leave go over to his building...
guy walks past me as i walk in...hes not in his office.
i call him again, hes upstairs just went past me....
he says well catch up next time....okay sounds good lmk.
Except, this asshole turns Me in for not coming to His appt....??!
and, after i told the head man what happened,Nobody cared??!!
from there on,i kept getting this 1 appt thrown in my face by the others in va,
and it pissed me off so bad im done with them and the bs lies and games.
keep in mind they never did a Thing for me and im more than slightly disabled.
their main focus the entire time was for me to fill out paperwork to get free monies from the govt monthly which i Didnt Want at All.
i Need medical care which ill never get.
but all They cared about,is numbers and handouts.
for anyone whos taking down locations, this is the VA in Bath ny.
so yes,not all va places nor staff are even close to being the same nor caring.
