This is my first rendering for my daughters 71 Satty project, cleaning up that funky valance. Can you tell I'm chomping to get started haha.

Ya going to do it out of Metal sheet stock? should look good..

Back in the late 70s early 80s that was a big fad. I worked at a place call mrD autorama up here. Vans were huge adding flare kits. Or some time scratch building from metal tubing and using 22 guage sheet metal to create

I really like it! I am doing something like that on my Charger for the air dam.
I saw a Charger at the Nats a few years ago where they were fitting a Hellcat lower spoiler onto it, they were using it all the way from the wheel opening to wheel opening. It was a work in progress but they did have to cut it and fill on both sides I believe at the corners but other than that it really looked and fit great.

I'm definitely not aiming for the old flare look, just wanting to give it a more aggressive look. I'll be drawing up ideas for the rear as well, I'd like to get rid of the rolled over look they have and possibly get rid of the rear bumper for something a little cleaner? Just not a fan of huge taillight mounted bumpers, wouldn't mind utilizing some modern taillights.

I purchased an aluminum factory original SuperBird front spoiler that I want to adapt to my '72 Satellite, more for having a conversation piece than anything else. But your valance already looks meaner than my plan, me like it.
