Road trip low profile

In Maryland if you pay $20.00 they will issue you another registration card with the YOM tag number that you are going to display,Just keep the stickered historic tags in the trunk,if they run the YOM tag it will show registered to my car.Maryland YOM tags expired every year and you got new tags up until 1971 and they started using year stickers.

OK, the plate clears when mounted this way. Will this pass muster?

You're like me, I pay my taxes, play by the rules, now kiss my ***, here's my paper work!! Be safe!!

Looks good! LEOs should not even give it a second glance. Pretty sure it isn't legal though, too easy to steal the tabs.

Power screw driver has the whole plate in 10 seconds.

I agree with what “he” said..... Seriously I think it looks great and doubt if any LEO will even notice it short of you getting pulled over for something else. Doubt they’ll give you any static unless you get a real dick. Especially since you’ll have the paperwork with you. Safe travels and enjoy the trip

LA, Reno, Vegas seemed easy. Losing my mind on what to pack for this one. Adding hand pump, the electrical troubleshooting kit that billccm used to check my charging system, tire plug, reflash for the EFI. Hope to God I don’t need that. Figuring when we break down, there will be no cell towers. Not gonna carry much car wash stuff, no bucket etc. Maybe Roger will let me rinse it off if we make Oklahoma. Car cover is a pia. If it gets wet just once, have to dry it off inside the hotel. Takes too much room in trunk too. I still want to know how the Hawk got out here with his car looking so good.

When are you heading out?

Some one is FOS. The tags must be permanently attached to the plate, not something that is removable. Get a copy of the California Vehicle code or ask the CHP to explain that to you. If you want to drive on a public street or hi-way you must comply with State law. At least in California. The legal way would be to use a legally assigned and tagged set of plates ( you might also check with your car insurance to see what they say about a non currently tagged car involved in an accident) when you are driving your car on the streets and put whatever you want when you are on private property or parked at a show. There are rules and regulations for a reason that might not be immediately apparent to some. It is not personal, they are for everybody.

Too funny!
Ha Ha...are you kidding me?

Well, I take it personally. Picking on an old guy. Sheesh.
