Regarding adding an O2 sensor in the exhaust ( or 2 , one on each side ) either for a change to a FI system, or the addition of an A/F gauge for tuning.
...Have been led to believe that the O2 sensor can be damaged or have a shortened lifespan if you run race fuel ( example Sunoco 110 ).
... Since many hi-end cars have data acquisition systems and would think they need O2 sensors within their setup...of course they might change them frequently ...
... What is the conclusion and has anyone run into this question ?

Thanks in advance.

It isn't the race fuel, it is the lead in the fuel. Yes, it coats the sensor probe and renders it useless.

Yes, race gas kills the O2 sensors. We've switched over to building pump gas engines for most customers. You can easily make 700+ hp with a pump gas Mopar big block so not much reason these days for high compression. The block is going to break if you push it much past 700 hp so what is the point?

I have a 512 inch low deck in my Duster that makes a little over 600 hp. It is EFI with coil packs and has wide band sensors. Runs on unleaded premium.

Nice looking setup Andy! (you could remove the radiator hose stickers)

I have an O2 sensor (Bosch brand) and fun race fuel. I get about a year before it goes. Tried cleaning it but didn’t work. Easier to just replace it.
