Done

Nice looking car. I like the color - something you don't see everyday. Also like that you didnt stick Road Runner emblems on it. Now time to enjoy, but like RC stated, they are never done....

The Sport Satellite and. the GTX share the same grill, taillights and trunk finish panel as im sure many folks know. I had someone ask why I didn't do a 440 with a six pack and make it a clone GTX... My reply was I didn't have the cash for the 440 and im not personally into clones. Not. knocking them but just not my thing.
After I pulled the engine last year as I wasn't happy with my rebuilding skills, I almost did put in a 440 but I wound up having the engine that came with the car (383) done by a very good shop, using all quality internals.
I should have chosen a different title to this thread as RC is spot on. Thanks for all the replies

I know a guy that bought a house, and a 69 Sport Satellite convertible, in that color, was in the garage. It was a slant 6 car. The guy who owned the house and car had passed away, he was able to buy both the house and the car. It looks great in the garage next to his 68 Charger.

Steve,
What a car!! You should be proud of all the hard work that went into it. Now get out there and .... Let The Horses Run.... Ulli

Oh man, when I saw this thread title my first thought was that you were 'done' with the site! It was a relief when I opened it and saw the car lol. Nice job man and she looks great!! Been thinking about mine a lot lately. Got to get serious about how I do things around here....

Nice Steve, time for the fun now! ( until the “done” title changes!)

"Done"? I had to look that word up in the dictionary, don't ever remember seeing that word used on the forum before (LOL). Please enjoy the heck out of it and think twice, no three times, before even thinking of selling the vehicle.

When it has been used here before, it usually refers to at least one person losing money :D

Congrats Steve, looks great and it is time to enjoy for you. Oh, I hope there a few hotrod parts on that engine.
