Y5 Fender Tag Code

I was told to put my post on this forum instead of the Welcome Wagon. Sorry about that.

I am about to purchase a '67 Belvedere Silver Special in the next few days. It has the H4A trim code as well as a Y5 and m9 code. Could someone please tell me what these two codes called for? I suspect the Y5 code is for a silver vinyl roof, no clue about the m code. The car that I'm purchasing appears to have never have had a vinyl roof on it and the seller is throwing in a black vinyl roof into the deal. I would like to keep the car as original as possible. Is there any way a car with the Y 5 code ever have a black roof? Is there someone out there that sells period correct silver vinyl roofs? Thanks for your help.

Y5 is vinyl top-silver
m9 is delete body side mldg.
Silver specials had rocker trim instead of the body side mouldings on Belvedere II’s.

The vinyl top would have a small chrome trim piece at the top of the A Pillar to cover the end of the vinyl. There would be 2 holes each side, screw hole and the locator pin.

Do you know of a source for correct silver vinyl tops? Thanks.

Thanks for your help. I also found another source called SMS Auto Fabrics in Canby, OR. They are sending me a sample of the material along with a quote. I can keep in touch once it arrives and let you know what I think if you would like. I did look at Legendary, but honestly I'm a little put off by the price = $952! I have attached a photo of a car that has the Y5 coded silver vinyl top.
