Since we are on the subject of wheels and tires. I figured I'd make a tread to see what other people think. What wheel (rim) and/or tire combo do you like the best? For me personally, It's a very tough decision. Honestly I really like them all. If I had to choose though, the rim would be the Magnum 500. The tire BFG Radial T/A. Preferably black letter. Could take white letter too. I'd like to hear from you. Post comments, opinions, etc.

Rallye. Fat on the back. More smoke, roasting, and other irresponsible teenager hooliganism. As evidenced by 31 years of paint chips.

15x7 and 15x8 Magnums with T/A Radials. They just look right on a b-body to me, like they belong there.
2nd place for me is Dennis' suggestion. Love some 15" Rallyes. :)

Torq thrust [grey or vintage silver] on b bodies up to 65' then i prefer rallies on 66-67 b bodies and basically all e bodies.

Dunlop Radial G/T Qualifier were my favorite tires ever, not sure they even make them still in the raised white letter.
Gripped the road, lasted forever, even with a 4 speed and burnouts forever.

Cooper Cobra Radial G/T.

Cragar G/T rims, and the spinner caps.

And lately the oddball old school rims, like my 1 Cragar Sparkler - looking for more.

I like Goodyear Eagles. But only for appearance. I haven’t had the best luck with Goodyear standing up for very long. Includes their slicks as well.

I have 4 sets, all 15"x7" fronts and 15"x8" rears for changing things and mixing it up a bit. Raised white letters out for the original look on the Rallye wheels and Road wheels (Magnum 500's). Black walls on the Cragar's and Steelies and Race car Welds.

I had a set of BFG Radial T/A's on my car when I bought it. They almost left me stranded between Minn. & Northern Ill. coming home from the "Mopars In The Park" show a few years back when a belt separated. So I have a sour taste left from them. Replaced them with Cooper Cobra Radial G/T's and have been happy with them so far. They are mounted on the old style Cargar S/S super sport wheels.

We went Cragar SS 6" front 8"rear(4.5 back space) tires are Mickey 225/70/15 and ET street SS 275/60/15. It had Keystones on it but I got tired of messing with unilug washers at night when we were swapping street tires back on at the track for the friday drags.

Original american daisies (200s) , centerline auto drags, if i can't get a full set of supertricks, and old halibrands. I have never seen ANY car that doesn't look good with gray torque thrusts. Polished is okay too, i'll pass on any chromed wheel, no thanks.

Blue painted, white pinstriped 17" wires are okay too.

I like to mix it up a bit. I have multiple sets. Rallye's, Steelies and Magnum 500''s for the stock look on my 2 Chargers and Road Runner. Weld Magnum 2.0's on my challenger

I've always loved the Magnums which I have on my 70 Charger but every once in a while I put the factory 14" rims on it with a set of 68 Charger caps on just for a different look. Im also getting to like the Rallye wheels lately. Wouldn't mind a set of those as well.
