The best car photo ever and why you like it.

The 1959 Facel Vega HK500, because they are rare, collectable, cool and way, way ahead of their time. many famous people owned one back then, many of them movie stars. They were very expensive. Today even a completely trashed one goes for $220,000. Restored--$500,000-$600,000.
AND...because, believe it or not the power plant is Chrysler 383 V8.

Facel Vega FV/FVS/HK500 1954–1962 893 in a single design. Accounting for 46 FV1, 152 FV2, 205 FV3 and FV4, 490 HK500.[19]

I can't pick just one.
But I think as a general rule action photos are more interesting.

That photo of the Hammer was the exact one that came to mind when I saw this thread. Love, that car and that pic. Used to have a great pic of the interior. In fact I modeled my refresh of the GTX interior after that pic. Love, that car!

It may not be the best photo of a '63 Corvette but it has to be one of the best designs of the post WWII. and to think it's 1963 ... I also see a lot of the '68 Charger in this car .. the tail lights, the scoops on the side moved from the fender to the door. Flares on both fenders, the beginning of the coke bottle shape. I'm amazed by both models.

I used to have a split window. And a 54 corvette. They were cool. Rough riding Lumber wagons .

Seeing these pictures on the web made me want a 66/67 Just think this car looks cool. The stance is cool and the fogged up windows gives it a christine vibe.
