FURYIOUS needs a new fuel cell. Looking at this RJS cell with the aircraft style cap. Never had one of these. Pros & Cons please so I can decide if this will work for me.

Go to ebay and search "fuel cells" I bought a great polished aluminum fuel cell (5 gal) for $50 freight paid. You can get a 10 gallon for around /$80 bucks or bigger (15 to 20) gallon if you want.
These tanks are great quality. A no brainer at 1/3 the cost of Jegs or Summit.

I use a RJS 5 gallon with a screw on cap. Nice tank with good fittings but screw cap sticks and can be a pain. I would think that cap would work better. Dave

Know anyone with a TIG machine and not much to do? Lots of times you can use the fill cap from the old cell unless you don't like it. Neat thing with welding up your own is you can make it how you want it and the more weight I can get down low, the better I like it.

I never liked mounting an aluminum cell by the little 2"x2" tabs they weld on them. I have seen cars that launch hard enough tear the tabs from the front due to weight of fuel so I made an aluminum angle frame to go around mine to secure the cell and go thru there tabs.
