What did I do today?
I almost caught it on fire.

After getting the interior back together after the A/C installation, I had the car running for about 15 minutes and it was fine. I went to drive it and the dash started smoking. A wire burned off the insulation and I had to break a fusible link to stop the car from burning up. I have to now go in and see what went wrong.

Glad you stopped it, hope there isn't to much damage.

Must have had one of those manual fusible links.

The sunny side - if the car catches on fire at least now you have ac to cool it down.
Seriously - glad you caught it in time. I had a minor dash fire in the Coronet a couple years ago. Now I carry a fire extinguisher.

The guys from Eagle 1 Auto Glass came by yesterday and sealed the windshield leak.

Today I installed the floor insulation. Carpet will be next.

Rehearsal for the BIG day tomorrow for our Baby girl... we're tired as hell, but only one more day and then clean up! LOL

I think she's holding it together and pretty happy despite the curves she's been thrown this week including her Paycheque bouncing yesterday and her Bar tender telling her she wasn't coming!

#1 son with 4 gals as well... these cars are chick magnets!! LOL

Gave Positive Feedback for Al at FABO for the A100 seats. Been looking for a while now, and these are as good as they get. :)

Found a vacuum leak on my new baby, changed oil/filter, got my headlights to work (dimmer), replaced plugs, adj. carb, timed it, replaced 4 way flasher, went to get screws to replace rear arm rests, and got a doughnut. Doughnut was NOT the best part of day. :)

I partially installed new carpet. The back is done and the front driver's side. I'll finish tomorrow. Very tedious. Using ACC carpet set.

Finished installing the carpet, kick panels, rear moisture barriers, and cat whiskers on the steel trim above the rear door panels (whatever they're called).
