Just bought all of these old diagnostic tools from a local. All brand new never used with manuals.

I more bought them because I thought they were cool. lol

Not sure if they are worth $2 or $200.

Here they all...

Worked for Sun Electric Corp on the 70s.
Was a Field Sales Mgr.who taught Dealership
mechanics how to interpret scope patterns &
Diagnosis Electrical &charging system problems.
The tools you bought were consumer products
introduced back in the late 70s before Snap on
bought out Sun.
They are quality made compared to most back then.

I still use that very diagnostic analyzer. Works great, especially if you enjoy the challenge of a Prestolite dual point distributor. Had that same timing light as well, although it packed it in a few years back. Like Johnpat said, quality tools for the period, and today for that matter.

I restore them. In the box with instructions here is what I sell them for.
timing light 75
Tach dwell meter which is a workhorse 50-80 depending which one
Vac gauge 40
Compression tester 40
Cant make ot the small box looks like a remote starter 25

Give me a better pic of the scope if you can looks like a sears 12 volt. Great scope to have around.

I kind of collect sun testers to restore. Have any old parts laying around?

I they they are cool , a friend of mine just bought a complete tune up station not much use for today's news cars but fun to hook up to our classics .

I have a few pics need to post more. Have six distributor machines almost all the nodels except the 506, four old school scopes, one huge wall mounted two vat 33 etc.

I've got an 1115 sun machine in my basement, has aninfrared tester incorp.
Intended to use it for parts but never did.
Also have misc circuit boards and test leads

Hmm I have to see id it is the same as the one I have on the wall need a gauge for it. Willing to sell a gauge off of it? Think it is the CO2. Have to look again.

LOL did not catch the CA!

Halifaxhops,
Regarding your collection of tune-up equipment, would you be interested in a HEATHKIT PORTABLE IGNITION ANALYZER? It has the capability of operating on 120 vAC (US) OR 12 volt DC. It has the DC to AC inverter on the back of the unit. It's an ocilliscope with the calibration marks in the face for peak spark voltage, analog indtruments on the front for dwell time, RPM and controls to vary the trace time ftom single cylinder (selectable) to parade display (all cylinders). It has long leads with inductive pick up for the high volrage and extensions for the coil primary connections. I also have the build and use manuals. Not sure what's its worth...... PM if you're interested....i'll try to get a few pix posted.
