I’ve got a 68 Charger and I’d like to raise the rear view mirror up. Is this stalk removable at what appears to be a seam? I’m running a panoramic mirror overlay and love the picture it gives me of what’s going on behind and beside me. Thanks for any help.

Your best bet would be to look around at other models and find a mirror that has a shorter stalk and swap it out with your base.

Unless, you want to keep it 100% original.

You might be able to saw that "joint" apart and shorten the "square" stalk. Then drill and tap both halves and join them with a stud (using thread locking compound).

Thanks what I’m thinking I’m going to do

..On your M/T tires. Did you add the white lettering? I didn't think they made drag radials with them, but I know there's kits out there.
