Hi
I have 1970 coronet Super bee and i want to convert the taillights to R/T tailight.
What is needed to do this conversion? Like tail lights. plus rear panel. What else needed ?
Thanks

The aluminum finish panel is different and the mounting holes for it are in a different location. I went the other way; I converted a ‘70 R/T or 500 to Super Bee or 440 and had to redrill holes.

Thanks Sahara
I want to coverted to R/T due to i love the fender side scoops,
So to do the coversion i just need the aluminum panel and the RT or 500 taillights.Right?
So we need to get the panel and the taillights .are they available any where? did they do the re production?
Thanks

That’s all I needed. I may have a nice but not perfect trim panel. The body shop smashed my tail lights. Two sets of them.
I went to Super Bee because I love the one year only “C” stripe. In retrospect it would have been easier if I’d gone R/T. Those scoops and rear tail light panel are beautiful.

Can you send me the picture of the R/T panel so i can see it.
send it to [email protected] plus tell me how much you asking.
Thanks

The true '70 R/T Tail Panel isn't reproduced for sure, and I don't think the tail lights are either. A restorable panel is worth its weight in gold.

The good news I found a used R/T tail finish panel. Require some restoration. Now I am looking for two R/T or 500 tail lights assembly.
Anyone have them?
