I am looking for a correct carburetor and linkages for my 1969 Coronet.
Unfortunately my broadcast sheet was destroyed by rodents. Not sure what my carb code is.
I believe I am looking for a Carter 4638 SA.

*Edit* Proper carb is Holley R4440. See discussion below.

My cruise control unit is complete other than some absent linkages for the carburetor. I have not yet purchased a FSM, so hoping some here can chip in with images.
I have factory accelerator pedal and linkage. Missing correct springs.
Motor was rebuilt in late 70's. Larger cam, Edelbrock intake, Competition AFB carb.
I have the stock intake.
Car runs and drives as-is, would like to return to stock.
Thanks for any help.

Many A/C cars got Holleys from the factory, especially 69 and later.

I was on the fence about a Holley R4440 until the second owner mentioned it was a Carter.

Room in inbox now, sorry.

The 69 B body 383 (E63) auto (D32) with A/C (H51) is the 899 assembly. N88 Auto Pilot doesn't affect the carb selection.
You are looking for carb 38 or the Holley R4440.
Here's a sheet from a similarly equipped Charger.

IF the original choke is still in the intake - unlikely - Holley may be stamped on the surface.

The Carter 4638 would be correct with the 69 Coronet 500 with the 383.

The broadcast sheet posted shows the correct carb for the application. Carb 38. The adjacent box showing 56 confirms the carb is a Holley.

This is more of a tech question than a wanted ad so I moved it to the tech section.....

Yes, you are correct...The 38 is the Holley R4440 carb.
I jumped the gun on this.

Dead thread revival.

I found remnants of my broadcast sheet. The last character of my carb is a 1. Per Doug this is 91. Is that the Carter 4638SA? Thanks all for helping.

91 is only 1969 choice. Apparently either carb 4616 or 4638 would be supplied for that pn. A/C being the determining factor.
