Is it possible to rebuild or repair the headlight vacuum actuators?

I am unaware of any way to rebuild these. I think they are too hard to get apart so that they can be reassembled. If you look for replacements, be aware 68 and 69 are slightly different. 68 has a magnet built in that can hold the headlight door open in case of a vacuum failure. 69 used a stamped steel rod bolted to the actuator tray and no magnet in the actuator. At the end of the day, it probably doesn't matter, just FYI.

I have some originals in storage. pm me if you still need help.

Charger Specialties sells a kit to convert them to electric actuators.
