Also i need to replace it, does it has to be the same part or i can use a different part?
Thanks,

Zayed.

Yep that's the starter all right. Engine starter will work. Yes and no. You can rebuild them. Or you can replace them with a new or already rebuilt one. You can replace it with a aftermarket starter or use a smaller one off of a newer magnum engine.
That's a start for you anyway.

appreciate it! Thank you sir.

I'm sure that most people on this forum sort of assume that one knows a little about their cars. Granted a question is a question. Yes, most of us do call that a starter. If you're into originality have that one rebuilt or a like replacement. If not you have many options out there.

Mr.Z is from Dubai. I call it “starter motor”. https://www.summitracing.com/search...family/mopar-big-block-rb/transmission/manual

Would question if it really needs to be replaced or is it he really know how to test it and just doesn't know what its called? Just what would a starter motor be called in Mr. Z's world?

Wasn't trying to be a smart ***. Thought maybe we could learn something if that's possible.
I really wasn't either. I simply went to a translation page and entered "starter motor" into Arabic. Translating that same phrase back into English (which I tried just now) gives the term "Motor Startup Device".

I looked at Mr Z's build thread. He or someone he's associated with knows their way around cars. I think what we have here is a cultural difference in communications. He had a terrific build going and from what he is doing I think he would be in the market for a good mini-starter. I, like Richard tended to be like what the hell is he saying. When I have those thoughts, I sometimes just don't get into it, but I to can be guilty of saying something that I probably shouldn't.
